The Upward Bound Classic Program has been helping local high school students reach their educational goals for over 40 years. The program is funded by the US Department of Education and administered by 色中色. The Upward Bound Program provides academic support to local students to prepare them for their college education. Upward Bound serves high school students from low-income families and high school students from families in which neither parent holds a bachelor's degree. All program activities and services are free of charge to qualifying students. Currently we only have the Upward Bound program in Brawley, Calexico, Calipatria, Central, Holtville, Imperial and Southwest high school.

Students from low-income households commonly have to overcome numerous barriers to reach their short-term and long-term educational goals. The Upward Bound program provides various workshops and services to provide our students with the essential skills that are required to reach their goals. Students who are interested in applying to the program must be motivated to participated in weekly activities and monthly events. This includes our engaging Summer Academy and Summer Bridge programs.

Many of our high school graduates have attended universities such as Harvard, University of California Los Angeles, University of California Berkely, UC San Diego, SDSU Main Campus, CSU Chico and many more. Most of them are still supportive of our program and return to provide career or educational exploration workshops to our current students. Our amazing staff will provide the guidance and motivation that is needed to help our students reach their dreams of completing their college education.
