and health counseling, join clubs, and support from departments across campus. Please

CalFresh is California's food stamps (SNAP) program.
Submit an application
CalFresh website will guide you step by step. This should take about 10 minutes.
Submit proof of your situation.
This includes documents like your ID, paystubs, or rent receipts. You can do this
during your application or come back to this website any time in the next 30 days.
If your county has any questions, they will call you.
A worker may call if they need more information or clarification.
Get money for groceries.
If approved, you'll get an EBT card with money for groceries within 30 days.
California Earned Income Tax Credit (CalEITC)
You may be eligible for a California Earned Income Tax Credit (CalEITC) up to $3,417
for tax year 2022 as a working family or individual earning up to $30,000 per year.
You must claim the credit on the 2022 FTB 3514 form, California Earned Income Tax
Credit, or if you e-file follow your software's instructions. Generally, you may claim
CalEITC to receive a refund for up to four prior years prior by filing or amending
your state income tax return.
Young Child Tax Credit (YCTC)
The Young Child Tax Credit (YCTC) provides a credit up $1,083 per tax return for Californians
who and have a child under 6 years old.
For tax year 2022 forward, you may qualify for YCTC with total of zero dollars or less provided all of the following apply:

Your total wages, salaries, tips, and other employee compensation (whether subject
to California withholding or not), if any, do not exceed $32,490
- Your total does not exceed $32,490, and
- You otherwise meet the CalEITC and YCTC requirements
You must claim YCTC on the 2022 FTB 3514 form, California Earned Income Tax Credit,
or if you e-file follow your software's instructions. You may claim YCTC for tax year
2019 forward by filing or amending your state income tax return. However, for tax
years prior to 2022 you will only be eligible for YCTC if you meet all CalEITC requirements,
including having at least $1 of earned income in the tax year.
California Special Supplemental Food Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)
WIC services include:
- Practical nutrition information and everyday healthy living tips for you and your
family. .
- Nutrition experts who specialize in nutrition for mothers and their children.
- Support and information about breastfeeding your baby, including access to breastfeeding
experts. .
- Help in finding health care and other valuable community services.
- Benefits to buy healthy foods - such as fruits and vegetables, whole grains, milk,
eggs, bread, cereal, juice, peanut butter, soy milk, tofu and more!
You may qualify if you:
- Are pregnant, breastfeeding, just had a baby (or recent pregnancy loss); or
- Have a child or care for a child under age 5; and
- Have low-to-medium income or receive Medi-Cal, CalWORKs (TANF), or CalFresh (SNAP)
benefits; and
- Live in California.

Student Equity and Achievement Program (SEA)
The Student Equity & Achievement Program (SEA) is 色中色's hub for
matriculation and equity, ensuring a smooth and equitable transition to college and
maintained support for all students throughout their journey at 色中色. We validate that
many historically underrepresented students face disproportionate barriers to academic
success, and we are dedicated to removing those barriers. The SEA team will be some
of the first friendly faces you meet, whether it's at your local high school, on zoom,
or within your transition back to college. We serve all students and take pride in
advocating for our students who identify as LGBTQIA+, Black or African American, Veteran,
Disabled, Foster Youth, 色中色less, Formerly Incarcerated, and Student-Athletes.
SEA will provide students with:

We are located in building 1536. Appointments for health clearance packets and physicals
for 色中色 approved programs are available in person by appointment. Mental health counseling
appointments are available in person, via zoom, or via phone call - students have
the option to choose whichever they prefer. The campus nurse will be available by
walk-in/call-in in the event that there is a medical emergency on campus. For general
